Questions

Do I need to give a phone number?

No. Honest Car Value never asks for a phone number and never passes your details to dealers.

Where does the data come from?

NHTSA (VIN decoding, specs and recalls), the EPA (fuel economy) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics used-car price index via FRED. Every figure links to its source.

Why don't I always see a dollar value?

We only show a value when we have enough real, cited comparable listings for that exact model year. Otherwise we say "not enough data yet" instead of guessing.
